Snooze City’s bedside manner is brought to you by Michael Azria and Derek Mosher. Michael Azria is the son of BCBG fashion giant Max Azria, and is also a film student in UCLA. Derek Mosher on the other hand, is a graduate of one of the best design schools in California, the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising.

Launched in 2007, they have built a loyal fan base of fans that love fashion and music, and want to keep it fresh in the bedroom as well. Their designs have Brit-punk and rock n’ roll influences, designing a set of Union Jack pillowcases. The music scene loves them back, amongst others Gwen Stefani and hubby Gavin Rossdale have the Bride and Groom set, and liked them so much they followed up with the King and Queen design.

Their designs also have pop cult influences…with sometimes controversial results! Recent collaborations include Toki Doki artist Simone Legno and collaboration with the David and Goliath range from artist Todd Goldman. With characters that are also found worldwide in his books, art gallery exhibits, and upcoming network cartoons.

Recent features have been magazines like Nylon, Teen Vogue, People magazine, 944 magazine, Alternative Press, and Life & Style.

DANGER….WILD FOX ON THE LOOSE!!

Posted in Celebs, Fashion with tags , , , , , , , , , on December 15, 2009 by Rachel Anthony - Stylist

“She is the Native heart, she is all neon light, she is a love child; she is a Wildfox.”

WANTED…For the robbery of Beverly Hills City Bank and all the clothing boutiques in the surrounding area.
Three girls in their mid-teens, all around the height of five foot nine, hair colour blonde, brunette and black. Dressed in very cute clothes!
Beware these girls are dangerous and should be considered a threat. If you have any information please inform the Los Angeles City Police.

Wildfox Couture is an American vintage-inspired women’s knitwear brand. Combining great style and unsurpassed quality, they have has quickly gained a cult-like following amongst celebrities and top retailers worldwide for its tongue in cheek, witty take on fashion. The collections are released in stories, with the recent AW 2009 Vampire collection selling out due to the underground craze amongst bloggers and fashion insiders each time a sequel story is released..

Spring summer’s Young Guns collection is heavily influenced by all things 80’s – ranging from heavy metal bands and Madonna and movies like Thelma and Louise and Pretty in Pink. Designers Kim and Emily say, “We can all identify with those rebellious fantasies of getting away without being caught’ or ‘love on the run’. It’s what fuels the fire in the hearts of everyone – child to adult – the unknown, the exciting adventure and the ultimate depth it brings us all..” A tale of rebellious Valley girls on the run..Having taken their passion for shopping too far…

New for Spring 2010 are several new fabrics and styles, including the ripped Rock Tee – made from a thin tissue jersey with hand cut holes and studs, that has cute short sleeves – fitting like a muscle Tee. There are totally 80’s cropped tanks – brought up to date to be worn as a layering piece over a dress. These delights are for the underground fashion insider, who understands the irony and ‘devil may care attitude’ of the strong female characters in the Wildfox saga..

Childhood friends Emily Faulstich and Kimberley Gordon are the creative force behind Wildfox. Inspired by Native American artwork and vintage rock & roll t-shirts, the young designers gave birth to a brand that tells a story of their generation and friendship.

Today, the girls spend their time visiting vintage shops and working out of their Silverlake-area design studio – where they sew their hearts on their sleeves and spread peace and love through design.

In his position as CEO & President, world-renowned jazz saxophonist Jimmy Sommers has helped propel into a highly recognizable brand through cultivating both a strong celebrity following as well as visibility in fashion press. Fans include Hollywood A listers such as Halle Berry and musicians Katie Perry and Fergie…

The LA-made brand is available at better retail boutiques nationwide including Fred Segal, Kitson, and Planet Blue, along with select department stores such as Bloomingdale’s, and Nordstrom. Internationally, Wildfox Couture’s distributors in Canada, Germany, Japan, and the U.K. have landed them in Harvey Nichol’s, Selfridges and Queen for a Day. Serfontaine backs anti Human Trafficking charity

Posted in 1 with tags , , , , , , , on December 15, 2009 by Rachel Anthony - Stylist

Serfontaine brought this heartbreaking cause to my attention..http://www.thea21campaign.org/ on their facebook page

When confronted with the statistics, the issue of human trafficking can be overwhelming to say the least. It’s true… “someone SHOULD do something”, so we have decided to take responsibility and put our hand up… if for no other reason than just because we have a hand to raise and a heart that’s willing to make a difference. We have decided to become that “someone”. This is why we created The A21 Campaign. We can ALL play a part in fighting injustice… it is the only way we can win.

The A21 Campaign stands for abolishing injustice in the 21st century. Anyone can join – everyone can make a difference.
